About the Artist
Tomar Levine, MFA,, has been an exhibiting artist in New York City since the 1980's. She has had numerous one-woman and group shows, and has participated in several museum exhibits. She was a leader in the figurative art and artist-run gallery movements in the early days of Soho in New York, and she has always had a particular love of portraiture.
More recently, she has moved into other areas of expression, such as writing, coaching, teaching, and speaking. She is an Intuitive Life Purpose and Career Coach with a special interest in helping people embrace their gifts so they can make a contribution to the world through their own inspired work. You can learn more about that aspect of her work here.
Tomar has always kept her love and practice of art alive. She now combines her gift for portraiture with a lifelong love of animals, by offering her pet portraits, to honor the amazing four-legged friends we share our lives with, capturing their unique essence, personality, charm, and beauty in paint and pencil.
